Tacit Knowledge: this type of knowledge which people carry in their mind ,therefore difficult to transfer to another person by means of writing it down or verbalizing it (Ex: Body Language , Leadership & Innovation………etc).
Explicit Knowledge: this type of knowledge which can be articulated and easily communicated between individuals and organizations (Ex: Daily or weekly reports, reviews, technical review & writing journals or articles……….etc).

Information Technology: as we are living in digital age so KM require a certain level of technology and infrastructure support to be effective. As business processes become increasingly complex, KM can be fully implemented only when appropriate information and communication technologies are available.
